I probably will never put anything on DA again.

I jsut received this note from DeviantArt staff, telling me that all the cards I've made for YuGiOh and Magic: The Gathering are copywrite violations, apparently even the ones using public domain art or that I drew myself, or received permission to use the art for. This is ridiculous, but I don't feel like arguing it. There are thousands of such artworks on DeviantArt, and I haven't looked to see whether they all have been removed, but much as I think it would be a tragedy, I hope that is the case, rather than a specific targetting of myself and possibly a few other people. Therefore, I will definitely never again upload any cards I make here, and I probably won't put anything else, either. I think that's a shame, because DA is a great comunity and I don't want to stop using it. But if I'm going to have my Deviations taken down even with the art being done by myself, or with the artists permission, or taken form the public domain, then what sanctity is there for my creations?
